Induced Alopecia for patients on a planned chemotherapy.
2. We are performing a research study to identify the prevalence of nutritional
deficiencies including iron and zinc deficiency in otherwise healthy women who
do not have hair loss.
- We are looking for women who are at least 18 years old who have no complaints of hair loss.
- The study includes filling out a one page survey, one blood draw and a brief scalp exam.
- There will be a small compensation for your participation in the study. If you are interested in participating, please contact Leslie Caudill, M.D. at (919) 668-5615 or by email at leslie.caudill@ duke.edu.
